Terms of use

Last updated 9 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and of the newsletter, content, courses, products, tools and services offered by OuterSpark Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17464428, registered office: 17 Faraday Road, Guildford, GU1 1EA (“OuterSpark”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and our associated brands (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these terms and to our privacy and cookie notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Specific purchases and engagements (for example a course booking or a consulting contract) may have their own terms. Where they do, those terms apply alongside these, and take priority if there is a conflict.

2. Information only, not advice

Everything we publish, including on this website, in the newsletter, in videos, on social media, in the UK Space Sector Playbook and in our courses, is general information and our own opinion. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, regulatory, procurement or careers advice for your situation, and it does not create an adviser, consultant or fiduciary relationship. You should take independent professional advice before acting on it.

Figures, funding programmes, organisations and links change often. We take reasonable care, but we do not guarantee that any content is complete, accurate or up to date, or that following it will lead to any particular result, such as a job, contract, funding award or investment.

3. Our intellectual property

All content in the Services, including text, course materials, worksheets, templates, playbooks, reports, graphics, logos, photographs of our people, videos, audio, newsletters, data compilations, designs and software, is owned by or licensed to OuterSpark Ltd and is protected by copyright, trade mark, database and other intellectual property laws. The names and logos of OuterSpark and our associated brands are our trade marks.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to view, download and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you must not:

  • copy, republish, resell, sublicense, share or distribute our content, including paid materials and recordings;
  • use our content to create courses, products, training or services that compete with ours;
  • remove or alter any copyright, trade mark or attribution notice;
  • use our names, logos, photographs of our people or media in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation;
  • scrape, data-mine or extract our content, or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source, as permitted by law. For any other use, please ask using the contact form. A member of our team will get back to you within 48 hours.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harass, defame or impersonate anyone, including our team;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, introduce malware, or disrupt their operation;
  • submit false information, spam, or content that infringes anyone else’s rights;
  • circumvent any access controls, download limits or paywalls.

We may suspend or end your access to any part of the Services if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms.

5. Things you send us

If you send us feedback, ideas, questions or other material (for example through the contact form, comments or social media), you confirm you have the right to do so, and you give us a free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use it to operate and improve our Services, without any obligation to you. We will handle any personal data in line with our privacy and cookie notice.

6. Courses, products and bookings

Some courses and digital products are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad, which may act as the seller of record. The price, what is included, and any cancellation or refund terms are shown at the point of purchase, and the platform’s terms also apply. Course places are personal to the buyer, and recordings and materials are for the buyer’s own use only.

Consulting, representation and mentoring engagements are governed by a separate written agreement. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance; we may decline any enquiry or booking. Free discovery calls are offered at our discretion and create no obligation on either side.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Third-party services and links

The Services use and link to third-party platforms, including Beehiiv, Gumroad, Google, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, and may in future use other e-commerce, payment, booking and embedded content services. These are operated by independent companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, and links do not imply endorsement.

8. Availability

We provide the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of them at any time, including content, prices, free resources and tools, without notice and without liability.

9. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, free content or free Services, or from third-party services;
  • we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, funding, opportunity, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
  • our total liability to you in connection with any paid product or service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These limits also protect our directors, employees, contractors and associated brands, who may rely on this section.

10. Your responsibility to us

If you use the Services for business purposes, you agree to compensate OuterSpark Ltd, our associated brands and our people for any losses, costs and claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our content or intellectual property.

11. General

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the Services means you accept the changes. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not waived it. These terms are between you and OuterSpark Ltd, and no other person has rights to enforce them except as set out in section 9.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers living elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts.

12. Contact

For any question about these terms, please use the contact form. A member of our team will get back to you within 48 hours.
